A Family of meat-eaters (it's so hard!!!!)



So you come from a family of meat eaters...Monday through Sunday meat is served. I've been there. So how do you cope? Here are some tips to help you deal with keeping the harmony with family while maintaining your vegan lifestyle:

First - Do not judge! Your choice is yours not their's. I know you want everyone to see the value and one day join you on your journey, but be patient. Allow your family to see the change and eventually want it for themselves.

Second - If you're not the chef, be easy on the chef. What I mean is, make small substitutes such as; if your family are having beef burgers or chicken patties, just substitute these with vegan burgers and patties, while still sharing in some side dishes everyone is having.

Third - Your family won't accept your choice right away, remain optimistic. When they see you being healthy and kind, they will come around.
