These diseases have long been claimed as man-made, as such there is no need to suffer from them. In fact, studies have proven that a low fat vegan diet has been able to reverse bad cases of cardiovascular disease (Source: Harvard Health Publishing). Major health organizations have often claimed that animal products rich in saturated fat and cholesterol, are a major contributor to both heart disease and diabetes, so one diet can work for both diseases!!!

ReplyDeleteYes Emily, they are diseases that regrettably have been proven to be man made, as such, we can improve our health by being concerned and careful with what we eat. And a vegan diet is a great start!
